Samsung is ready to ship their SSD Drives

SAMSUNG has launched their flash memory based solid-state disk(SSD) drive which has a capacity of 256GB and high speed SATA II interface.Drive measures 2.5-inch hard-disk drive,which can used as a replacement for laptop hard-drive.

U.S based super talent was first to launch SSD drive,which is thicker than SAMSUNG by 12.5 millimeters.This drive has SATA I interface with readspeeds of 65 megabits per second and write speeds of 50 Mbps.

SAMSUNG is the second to launch SSD drive(256 GB),which has a read speed of 200 Mbps and write speed of 160 Mbps.

Solid-state disk drives use flah memory chips in place of magnetic spinning disks in hard-drive.
